Hey folks, I'll eventually be connected again tomorrow or the day after. Only with half the bandwidth than in my old apartment, but still plenty better than nothing.

Edit: I'm back officially.

As some of you might already know, I'll be moving into our new apartment next Sunday (the 2nd of December). Unfortunately, my ISP informed me yesterday that they probably won't be able to provide me with DSL at my new location. So as long as this situation remains unchanged, I won't be seen online quite as much as usual, probably not at all. Whether it's going to take weeks or months for the DSL availability to change, I don't know. The Deutsche Telekom is known to be rather stubborn when it comes to DSL availability, as can be seen with towns that still aren't connected, almost a decade after the technology became available.
So I won't be working on anything online related for a while and might not be able to answer all E-Mails . Once things look better, you'll read about it here.

I always thought about giving blogging a shot, to share my funny thoughts and finds with the web community. Though, I'm not an too interesting person to make your time worthwhile alone - I have no political or religious visions, no wild sex stories (don't want to make you envious) nor can I teach you about life's mysteries (haven't figured them out myself, anyways).
But I'm the same as many others - incomplete without my friends. So, why not make a collaborative blog? With a colorful bunch writing, reading this blog will become so much more worthwhile, of that I'm sure.
I'm also counting on your comments on the stuff and shit we do and think. But remember to be gentle, or we'll gently boot you out of here
Anyways, I wish you all a fun time reading my and my folks' posts here. You can show your appreciation for the sun we bring into your live by sending some humble donations our way - flat screens, games, sports cars, yachts, porn, pennies - just keep 'em coming.

While I'm at it, let me introduce myself. Name's Julian, pleased to meet'cha. I live in Germany, Saarland to be more precise (feel forgiven for not knowing where that is). I was born here on August 15th, 1986. I'm a Linux and IT geek. I love playing video games of any kind, from adventure games over Jump'n Runs to Shmups. I live and breath RPGs, as shows my web project RPGameplace which I founded in 2001 and am still happily working on.
I'm also into all Japan related stuff. Sleepless nights reading Mangas or watching/translating Animes aren't rare, as are the attempts to master the language and cuisine. Apropos cuisine, I love to cook & eat - for that I'm trying to earn pennies as translator and webdesigner.

Oh, I'm also a Trance nut. The beats, beeps and bleeps keep me awake at night, good stuff.

When you happen to bump into me out there, your impression of me would most likely be "whoa what an arrogant snob". But that arrogance is just my way of showing that I love ya. I love all my fans.

Ok ok, I'm stopping already. I know what you want. Just fair to give you some time to worship me.
